Jon Vincent aka Jeff Vickers

Oh, Jon Vincent. I've already posted about him so I won't re-hash his obituary. But that man was hot. Both these photo spreads seem to have been shot around the same time when he was looking pretty good. And the pink color palate carbon dates it perfectly as 1987.  Even though know from his autobiography that he took tons of steroids, his body seems very natural in all his bigness. Maybe its because he didn't have a six pack. Whatever is was, it worked. RIP Jonny.

I bought this magazine for four dollars in a used porn store in San Francisco. I've seen photos from this shoot re-published in many venues. It epitomizes Jon Vincent's masculine, straight guy thing, and vaguely references his pro athlete past. Nightcharm has a great (and hilarious) article about him that I wont try to re-create. Definitely worth a click.
The guy was clearly troubled. I read his auto-biography, which was written in the most bizarre style: most sentences ended in exclamation points and in several places he admits that previous statements in the book are lies. It also shows his overdose death was clearly and accident not a suicide--he claims in the book that he could take handfuls of valium and it wouldn't affect him. That, and some heroin, ended up killing him.
All I know is we lost a hot pro-baseball player/porn star that day. How often does that happen?
