It doesn't get much gayer than this. If you've ever seen an issue of "Exercise for Men Only" you know that it's just soft core gay porn thinly disguised as a muscle mag. Its heavy on the physique model layouts and light on content--which is fine...there's only so much you can really write about rock hard abs and trans fats anyway. But this special "inspirational photo essay" with "50 fabulous photographs" doesn't even bother with the articles. Just 50 pages of beef. Its decidedly cheesy and very soft core for my tastes, but perfect for the closeted young man to get a secret stiffy while leafing through it in the frat house.
I realized flipping through it that a few of the photos are recognizable from my internet trolling. I wont go as far as saying they're iconic, but they have survived the ages from this humble beginning. The fashion is "noteworthy" for lack of a better word. I personally don't remember 1993 being quite so heavy on low cut singlets, mesh tops and zebra print speedos, but maybe I was going to the wrong parties.
