Stephan Bertoli

Stephan only made a few movies (Another Man's Pleasure, One Man's Poison, Restless, and Top to Bottom), however he caught my eye and ear with his thick Israeli accent and beautiful chest, and I bought all of them. Two were Michael Lucas films and therefore were poorly shot and low budget, but his hulking masculinity kept me coming back.

And then I met him.

I was innocently cruising Manhunt and I came across his profile. Well, it was just his chest, but it looked familiar. Then he sent me an email with stephanbertoli in the address. I knew he was too obscure of a porn star to impersonate, so I figured it had to be him, and it was.

I was so terrified to meet him that I postponed several times. I actually had to go purchase Viagra for the occasion (stage fright...) He had a habit of writing in all capitals like I WANT TO COME OVER NOW that was exciting but seriously intimidating. Psyching yourself up to go fuck someone who you've been masturbating to on a regular basis is an interesting study in self confidence or lack thereof. I finally said to myself "If you don't do this you're going to regret it forever" so I took that Viagra and went on over.
I remember standing outside his door, shaking like a kid on his first date, telling myself that he was going to be just like everyone else....and then he opened the door wearing nothing but mesh briefs. Seriously.

I've thought a lot about how much of an invasion of privacy writing about our tryst would be, and I decided to err on the respectful side and just say that I had the pleasure of knowing him with some regularity for a period of a couple years.
He was long done with porn when I met him and was a trainer at a local gym. His only visible souvenir from that period was a lucite paperweight he had that encased a picture of him on the cover of a gay travel guide.
I haven't seen him a few years. Last I heard he had a boyfriend.

I hope you are well, Stephan.

At the end there is a link to a gallery of his at Hot house that I'm too cheap to pay for, but there's a lot more of him there.
