I have always admired Jake Andrews. Not just for his killer ass either. He is a rare porn star in that he seemingly embraced the industry and his career whole heartedly and long term. I think the average run of a porn is a few years and maybe 5-10 movies. Jake's career by my estimate spanned 13 years and roughly 70 movies. I view him as an actor that kind of anchors a movie--even if the movie is terrible, I alway watch his scenes because I know at least his part will be well done. And watching the muscles in his ass contract when he gets fucked never gets old.
I spoke to him once on Dudesnude and must say that he was a sweetheart.--meaning he put up with my cyberstalking with class. The exchange was something along the lines of "Wow I'm a big fan of yours!" "Aw, thats sweet..thanks"....but he didn't have to say even that.
If you read the interview below he is surprising frank about his reasons for doing porn (good money, not much work) and he dishes quite a bit on certain scene partners. My favorite parts is when he says Blade Thompson "just kinda lays there" while fucking (and he's the top!). His tone about the whole industry is pretty ho-hum.
